What We Do

Senior Home Referrals is a FREE, personalized and knowledgeable advisory service dedicated to saving you time in your search for Omaha independent living, assisted living or dementia care, including Alzheimer’s care. Since 2009, we have partnered with the majority of senior living providers including home care companies, independent and assisted living communities, residential care homes, and skilled nursing facilities in Omaha and the surrounding area. Our professional recommendations are based on personal visits and evaluations of care, staffing, pricing and environment. Services are provided by Senior Home Referrals at no-cost to the families we assist, as we are paid a one-time referral fee by the communities if placement occurs.

4 Guided Steps to Finding the Right Place for Your Loved One

Step 1 – Needs Assessment

We'll personally meet with you or if you prefer, we can provide a phone consultation....your choice! In order to recommend the best options, we'll ask you questions regarding care needs, geographic location and type of environment preferred, personal interests and budget. Your responses will enable us to save you a lot of time and ease your stress in finding the best solution for senior care. And there is no cost to you!

Step 2 – Review of Options

After thoroughly analyzing needs, we'll recommend the best options for housing and care options that match the needs of your loved one. And there is no cost to you! We partner with the majority of senior communities and group homes in the greater Omaha area and they compensate us for residents that we place.

Step 3 – Guided Tours

Following your review of the options, you choose which places you would like to tour. We'll schedule the tours at times that are convenient for you and we'll accompany you to ensure that all the right questions are asked and answered. In addition, we'll help you compare the benefits of each place so you can make the best decision.

Step 4 – Transition Support

We'll continue to guide you step-by-step through this transition, and can provide additional resources to help with downsizing, packing, moving, elder law advice and more! Following the move, we'll contact you to be sure that your loved one is adjusting comfortably.
